A Regular Meeting of the Township Trustees of the Town of Alton, Illinois was held on the above date in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, at the hour of 6:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bohart and on Call of Roll, the following members were present or absent:
PRESENT: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Elliott, Ford – 7
ABSENT: None – 0
Mr. Meehan made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the said minutes of the regular meeting of April 8, 2026 be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Elliott, Ford – 7
NAYS: None – 0
Chairman Bohart presented the Monthly Report for March 2026, (All Funds): Town Fund in the amount of $819,438.59; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $146,986.96; Social Security Fund in the amount of $50,999.51; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) in the amount of $88,711.11; Town Savings Fund in the amount of $205,751.69. Mr. Meehan made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Brown that the Monthly Report be approved and placed on file. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Elliott, Ford – 7
NAYS: None – 0
Chairman Bohart presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $8,172.61; Town Fund in the amount of $14,349.15; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) in the amount of $770.61; Social Security fund in the amount of 1,104.42; Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford, that the said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Elliott, Ford – 7
NAYS: None – 0
There being no further business to come before the Board of Trustees at this time, Mr. Meehan made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bohn, that said meeting adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:

Chairman Bohart presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $10,539.72; Town Fund in the amount of $16,898.82; Social Security fund in the amount of $1,133.08; Mr. Meehan made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
