Alton Township will be closed Monday, February 12, 2024 in observance of President Abe Lincoln's birthday.


We will reopen for business on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 for regular business hours, 8:30am - 4:00 pm.

The Township of Alton is split between 2 offices. You can find the Assessor's office at 102 E. Broadway, at the corner of Broadway and Alby Street.

The General Assistance and Supervisor's office is located in the back of the Assessor's building, at 100A E.Broadway. You can enter at the parking lot on Alby Street, directly behind the City Hall building.
