In observance of Good Friday and Easter, the Township office will be closed for business Friday, April 3rd, 2026. The office will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, April 6th, 2026.

The Township of Alton is split between 2 offices. You can find the Assessor's office at 102 E. Broadway, at the corner of Broadway and Alby Street.

The General Assistance and Supervisor's office is located in the back of the Assessor's building, at 100A E.Broadway. You can enter at the parking lot on Alby Street, directly behind the City Hall building.
