TOWN OF ALTON

ALTON, ILLINOIS

JULY 23, 2025

A Regular Meeting of the Township Trustees of the Town of Alton, Illinois was held on the above date in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, at the hour of 6:00 P.M.

Also, in attendance was Alton Township Attorney, Matt Kelly.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bohart and on Call of Roll, the following members were present or absent.

PRESENT: Bohn, Pfister, Brown, Ford– 4

ABSENT: Velloff, Meehan, Elliott, – 3

Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bohn, that the said minutes of the regular meeting of July 9, 2025 be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Brown, Ford– 4

        NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Velloff, Meehan, Elliott, – 3

Chairman Bohart presented the Monthly Report for June 2025, (All Funds): Town Fund in the amount of $672,562.10; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $115,434.33; Social Security Fund in the amount of $56,126.22; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund in the amount of $83,239.95; Town Savings Fund in the amount of $203,907.43. Mr. Bohn made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford that the Monthly Report be approved and placed on file. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Brown, Ford– 4

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Velloff, Meehan, Elliott, – 3

Trustee Meehan arrived mid meeting.

Chairman Bohart presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $2,752.50; Town Fund in the amount of $16,911.66; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund in the amount of $1,027.99; Social Security fund in the amount of $1,082.07. Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford, that the said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Brown, Meehan, Ford– 5

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Velloff, Elliott, – 2

There being no further business to come before the Board of Trustees at this time, Mr. Bohn made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford, that the meeting adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Brown, Meehan, Ford– 5

        NAYS: None – 0
