TOWN OF ALTON

ALTON, ILLINOIS

FEBRUARY 11, 2026

A Regular Meeting of the Township Trustees of the Town of Alton, Illinois was held on the above date in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, at the hour of 6:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bohart and on Call of Roll, the following members were present or absent.

PRESENT: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Elliott, Ford – 6

ABSENT: Meehan – 1

Also, in attendance was Alton Township Attorney, Matt Kelly.

Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford that the said minutes of the regular meeting of January 28, 2026 be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Elliott, Ford – 6

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Meehan – 1

Chairman Bohart presented the Monthly Report for January 2026, (All Funds): Town Fund in the amount of $852,652.31; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $167,571.53; Social Security Fund in the amount of $54,772.79; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund in the amount of $89,392.10; Town Savings Fund in the amount of $205,346.39. Mrs. Elliott made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Brown that the Monthly Report be approved and placed on file. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Elliott, Ford – 6

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Meehan – 1

Chairman Bohart presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $8,408.32; Town Fund in the amount of $16,451.51; Social Security fund in the amount of $1,114.10; Mrs. Elliott made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford, that the said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Elliott, Ford – 6

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Meehan – 1

There being no further business to come before the Board of Trustees at this time, Mr. Velloff made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bohn, that said meeting adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:

AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Elliott, Ford – 6

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Meehan – 1
