TOWN OF ALTON
ALTON, ILLINOIS
DECEMBER 10, 2025
A Regular Meeting of the Township Trustees of the Town of Alton, Illinois was held on the above date in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, at the hour of 6:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by acting Chairman Brown and on Call of Roll, the following members were present or absent:
PRESENT: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Ford – 6
ABSENT: Elliott—1
Mr. Velloff attended meeting via Conference Call.
Also, in attendance were, Alton Township Attorney Matt Kelly.
Mr. Meehan made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bohn, that the minutes of the regular meeting of November 25, 2025 be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Ford – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott—1
Acting Chairman Brown presented the Monthly Report for November 2025, (All Funds): Town Fund in the amount of $736,516.71; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $162,162.72; Social Security Fund in the amount of $58,225.64; Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund in the amount of $87,943.01; Town Savings Fund in the amount of $204,921.73. Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Ford, that the Monthly Report be approved and placed on file. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Ford – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott—1
Acting Chairman Brown presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and
Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $15,861.01; Town Fund in the amount of $15,223.93; Social Security fund in the amount of $1,110.73. Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Pfister, that said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Ford – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott—1
Acting Chairman Brown presented the Alton Township 2026 Holiday Schedule and the 2026 Regular Board Meetings.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Trustees at this time, Mrs. Pfister made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bohn, that the meeting adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bohn, Pfister, Velloff, Brown, Meehan, Ford – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott—1
