A Regular Meeting of the Township Trustees of the Town of Alton, Illinois was held on the above date in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, at the hour of 6:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bohart and on Call of Roll, the following members were present or absent.
PRESENT: Allen, MacAfee, Strebel, Brown, Meehan, Gan – 6
ABSENT: Elliott – 1
Mrs. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mr. Meehan, that the said minutes of the regular meeting of January 08, 2025 be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Allen, MacAfee, Strebel, Brown, Meehan, Gan – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott – 1
Chairman Bohart presented the Report and Listing of Bills for Payment and Action by Board; General Assistance Fund in the amount of $4,130.80; Town Fund in the amount of $13,878.04; Social Security fund in the amount of $1,121.37; Illinois Municipal Retirement in the amount of $1,196.57. Mr. Gan made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the said Bill Listing be approved. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Allen, MacAfee, Strebel, Brown, Meehan, Gan – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott – 1
There being no further business to come before the Board of Trustees at this time, Mrs. Allen made a motion, seconded by Mr. Meehan, that said meeting adjourn. The motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Allen, MacAfee, Strebel, Brown, Meehan, Gan – 6
NAYS: None – 0
ABSENT: Elliott – 1

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Township office will be closed for business Monday, January 20th, 2025. The office will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025.
